Job Title: Receptionist
Department: Client Services
Reports to: Client Accounts Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary: Serves as the first point of contact for the company, welcoming and directing both visitors and calls appropriately. Ideal candidates will be outgoing, personable, comfortable with technology, and eager to represent University Services well.

Responsibilities/Job Duties:
Average % of time split among daily duties
•Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately 
•Answer, screen, and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed 
•Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges) 
•Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments 
•Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as posting outgoing mail, opening sorting, scanning/distributing incoming mail. 
•Performs other miscellaneous administrative tasks, as assigned (printing/prepping positives for MRO Signature and/or AMS Cards and/or mailing results).

•Call for service, as needed, for printers/copiers/scanners,postage machines.
•Notify the building manager and service vendors of any issues (plumbing, pest control, electrical, light bulb replacement, ice machine etc.)
•Order Supplies, (office supplies, breakroom supplies, distribution supplies, etc.) 
•Ability to tidy and maintain the reception area and conference rooms and assist in organizing company lunches and events.

Qualifications Required:
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Outlook, Excel, and Word
•Proven working experience in similar roles
•Professional appearance
•Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
•Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
•Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure

Education Required:
High school degree

Travel: None

Overtime: Little or no overtime required

Work Hours: Monday through Friday - 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM
