Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer
The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure high quality web-based software through functional, regression and performance testing in a collaborative, Agile (Scrum) work environment, leveraging both manual and test automation practices.
The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will spend at least 50% of their time applying their C# skills toward building and maintaining an automated test suite.
Test new software features and regression test existing functionality
Design, create, maintain and execute automated acceptance, regression, and performance tests
Perform design and code reviews associated with automated test development
Collaborate with Software Engineers on design and implementation that are conducive to automated acceptance tests
Collaborate with Product Owner to understand and advise on well-defined requirements and testable acceptance criteria
Perform manual functional, accessibility, compatibility, and security testing
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Testing web applications using manual and automated testing approaches
Test automation frameworks and C# programming abilities
Testing secure, scalable, and highly available web applications
Knowledge of web application development technologies and concepts
Knowledge of Agile (Scrum) development life cycle
The ability to troubleshoot and analyze; must be able to dig into issues and escalate or solve them appropriately
Strong work ethic
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience
Seven or more years of experience testing web applications
- Five or more years of experience building/executing automated tests for web applications
